Primary onground support in our native garden maintenance division. Carry out the implementation of the maintenance program for our completed client gardens.


Key Tasks: 

  •  Carry out the planting of native wildflowers using our core methodologies 
  • Assist in garden preparation for new garden Installation
  • Undertake pruning, tip pruning, shaping and maintenance of native plants 
  • Complete different plant health treatments when necessary
  • Liaise with our customers on-site and support in answering presented questions 
  • Carry out plant placement in existing Western Wildflower Gardens locations 
  • Develop working relationships with our garden and landscape installation teams 
  • Communicate with management via WhatsApp when on-site as required  
  • Attend site visits with management and labourers as required
  • Commitment to creating a safe working environment  
  • Dedication to exceptional service, on time and on budget 
  • Collection and delivery of native plants, materials and equipment
  • Complete maintenance visits individually or with a team member  
  • Be reliable, accountable and on time for scheduled work  
  • An all-rounder with a willingness to learn our unique wisdom, processes and methodologies

To Be Successful You Must Have: 

  • The right to work in Australia 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • National police clearance  
  • At least 1+ years experience working in either the native garden and landscaping industry, rehabilitation of bushland areas, local government main roads public open spaces or experience in the gardening industry but no qualifications  
  • Qualification in land conservation management, nursery industry or horticulture preferred, but not essential 
  • Interest and basic knowledge and experience in Australian native plants  


Remuneration and Position

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: $41,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

VARIOUS POSITIONS: From General Labourer to Experienced Landscaper

VARIOUS POSITIONS: From General Labourer to Experienced Landscaper

Various casual positions are available ranging from basic labourer to experienced landscaper. This includes assisting the leading hand on a variety of native garden and landscaping projects. 


Basic Skill Set:

  • Weeding, digging, shifting and turning over soil
  • Shifting and lifting paving, rocks and other heavy objects
  • General labour duties


Intermediate Skill Set:

  • Knowledge of cutting tools for green-waste
  • Box in areas for paths, paving and walls
  • Determine irrigation pipe direction
  • Apply product under instruction


Advanced Skill Set:

  • Knowledge of which tools are required to complete a task
  • Basic machinery use under supervision
  • Start and complete cement, relay pavers and small handyman tasks
  • Reconnect PVC piping and good understanding of irrigation


Experienced Skill Set:

  • Able to provide estimated quantities and times to complete tasks
  • Operate digging machinery independently
  • Draw up, design and create vegetable boxes, walls and climbing frames
  • Design and install irrigation
  • Install artificial grass
  • Create natural rock walls, retaining walls and other Hardscaping structures
  • Has a creative flair for log and rock placement to create natural environments


To Be Successful in Advanced and Experienced Levels You Must:

  • Have landscaping experience
  • Be able to work well with people and have great communication


Remuneration and Position:

  • These are casual positions with different skills and experience required
  • Remuneration will be based on the above
  • Ensure you address the skill level  you are applying for in your application 

POSITION: Administrator

VARIOUS POSITIONS: From General Labourer to Experienced Landscaper

POSITION: Administrator

This position is responsible for the functional and effective running of the Western Wildflower Gardens administration by organising business operations, systems and procedures. This includes but is not limited to accounts, administration, basic payroll and personnel.  


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collation of project compliance / completion spreadsheets and reports 
  • Preparing weekly / monthly operational reports 
  • Ensuring compliance with management systems Invoicing, reconciling and following up suppliers 
  • Collation and production of various daily, monthly and annual spreadsheet reports in Excel 
  • Other general administrative tasks


  To Be Successful You Must: 

  • Have a strong customer focus 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated experienced in an administrative role 
  • Have intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft and Google) 
  • Experience with Asana and Zero (desirable - not mandatory) 
  • Have sound verbal and written communication skills for liaising with our valued clients, subcontractors and internal staff 
  • Previous experience working in a trades / landscaping business (desirable - not mandatory)  


Remuneration and Position: 

  • This is a part-time role 
  • Remuneration will be based on experience and skill
