Understanding the flow of our six Noongar seasons in WA is an asset to any home gardener. It provides the opportunity to learn about the various patterns exhibited by our native flora and fauna across the year.

Waterwise Gardens

Deep Watering Methodology

We know your soil is already perfect for wildflowers. Using automatic irrigation, thick mulch and various soil conditioners is like adding sugar to all your food. That's why we focus on ensuring a connection between our gardeners and their native plants through regular hand-watering schedules that provide only the water necessary to the plants development.

Integrating Eco-Tools

Eco-tools are such a fun and easy way to welcome back local fauna to your garden. We offer all sorts of unique bird baths, bee poles, rocks and logs - plenty of which we can already find in your garden! You can check out some of our ready-to-buy eco-tools in the 'Products' section of our website.

Our gardens all follow our tried and tested methodology of deep planting and deep watering. After years of research, Sue Dempster concluded that WA wildflowers don't need all the irrigation being recommended, instead they just need a little bit of love in the ground before they begin shooting their roots towards our renewable ground water resources.
